PURPOSE OF WORKS
Feliz en Vista project is located at the plot Y1, Thanh My Loi ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. Project consists of 4 towers with height of 35 stories and podium with 5 stories including car park. The aim of Employer is to make the most high-end building at present time.

 

CONCEPT AND DESIGN
The bored pile foundation for the towers and spun piles foundation for the podium was designed by Engineer, Bauer have made the alternative design for the bored pile foundation of the towers by applying shaft grouting technique in order to increase the skin friction and reduce the pile diameter and pile length which results in an economic design and reduce the costs of the foundation.


SOIL / ROCK CONDITION
The soil conditions consist of soft clay down to 9m and sandy clay down to 19m, the next layer is medium sand from 19m to 50 m and was shaft grouted.

 

CONSTRUCTION WORKS & SPECIAL FEATURES
The Employer requested that piling works and pile cap works to be completed within 6 months. Therefore all the construction activities were running parallel. Bored piles, spun pile, load testing, earthworks and reinforced concrete works simultaneously executed resulted in very congested site area.

 

Good planning of all activities was necessary to complete all the works in time especially under extreme heavy rainfall conditions during the excavation and concrete works for the pile caps.

 

he site was handed over in time to the following Building Contractor to the satisfaction of the Client.
